Dishwasher safe, but a hand wash with warm, soapy water is the preferred care method. Use enamel cleaner or scouring cream and a smooth sponge or brush for stubborn residues. Avoid wire brushes, steel wool, scouring powder containing sand, and cleaning sponges with ceramic particles. Dry the cookware well. Lime spots can be removed with vinegar water. 

Enamel is very hard. However, hard impacts can lead to the glass surface chipping. If the glass layer on the outside chips, the cookware can continue to be used. If the product chips on the inside, it is recommend you replace it, as optimum hygiene is no longer guaranteed. All Riess products are fully metal-recylable.
